Best Abstract AwardsEvery year, the Society presents awards at the annual meetings of the Society for Technology in Anesthesia (STA) and the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) for the best technology-related abstracts. J.S. Gravenstein AwardEvery year, the Society bestows the J. S. Gravenstein Award for lifetime achievement in the area of technology in anesthesia. STA members are encouraged to nominate worthy candidates online. Research GrantsBeginning in 2001, the Society will award one grant per year to promote quality research into technologies that address high priority needs in anesthesia.
